San Diego, CA. – 62-year-old Maria De Los Angeles Garcia has been identified as the pedestrian who died after being struck by a car in the North Park neighborhood of San Diego on Friday, June 5.
According to the San Diego Police Department, the accident happened in the 2600 block of El Cajon Boulevard at around 11:38 a.m.
Garcia was struck by a car in unclear circumstances.
The woman was taken to Scripps Mercy Hospital, where she died the next evening.
Police are investigating the accident.
