Lemon Grove, CA.- The bicyclist who was killed in a vehicle collision in Lemon Grove on Sunday night has been identified as Marco Quintero, 35, of San Diego, according to the county Medical Examiner's Office.
The incident took place just before 9:30 p.m. October 5.
According to the authorities, Quintero was riding a bicycle when he was hit by a black Chevrolet Silverado.
Quintero was rushed to Scripps Mercy Hospital in Hillcrest, where he was pronounced deceased.
Impairment was not suspected to have played a role in the incident, according to the authorities.
The investigation is ongoing.
