
San Ramon, CA.- One person was killed in a San Ramon crash involving a suspected DUI driver on Saturday afternoon, the San Ramon police reported.
The two-vehicle collision took place on Crow Canyon Road near Bollinger Canyon Road at around 3:20 p.m. on November 29, 2025.
Police reported that a Ford Bronco and a Tesla Model 3 were involved in the collision, whose cause was not immediately determined.
A 41-year-old Castro Valley woman, who was a passenger in the sport utility vehicle, was killed in the crash. The driver of the Ford was taken to a hospital for treatment and was later released.
The driver of the Tesla, a 28-year-old Pleasanton resident, was taken into custody on suspicion of DUI and vehicular manslaughter. The driver was booked into the Martinez Detention Facility.
Crow Canyon Road was shut down in both directions between Norris Canyon Road and Bollinger Canyon Road as authorities investigated the incident. The San Ramon Police Department is investigating the accident.
