Man Using Wheelchair Injured in South Phoenix Crash near 7th Street and Southern Avenue

Phoenix, Calif. – A man using a motorized wheelchair was seriously injured after he was involved in a crash with a vehicle in south Phoenix Monday morning.

According to the Phoenix Police Department, the crash happened just before 10 a.m. near 7th Street and Southern Avenue.

Police say the man sustained serious but non-life-threatening injuries and was taken to the hospital.

The driver of the vehicle remained at the scene and cooperated with investigators.
