Mesa, Ariz. – Authorities have identified the man who died in a traffic collision involving a truck and a metro bus in Mesa on Saturday has been identified as 45-year-old Joseph Christenson.
Christenson was traveling eastbound, when for some reason, he crossed over the center line into westbound traffic and struck a Valley Metro bus, spun out, and hit a truck. Christenson was trapped inside the car and had to be extricated. He was pronounced dead at the scene.

Mesa, Ariz. – A driver was killed in a multi-vehicle collision at an intersection in Mesa Saturday morning.
Authorities responded to a call regarding a deadly wreck at Gilbert Road and Southern Avenue at around 5:40 a.m.
Reportedly, an eastbound car on Southern Avenue crossed the center line for unknown reasons and collided with a Valley Metro bus. The car then spun into a truck.
The driver’s car was pronounced dead at the scene.
Their identity was not immediately disclosed.
