Long Beach, Calif. – A man in a wheelchair was injured after being struck by a car on Saturday afternoon in Long Beach.
The accident was reported at around 3:15 p.m. on Atlantic Avenue at the 91 Freeway exit, according to Long Beach Police Department.
A man in a wheelchair was in the west crosswalk when he was hit by a car.
The man suffered non-life-threatening injuries and was transported to the hospital for treatment.
The driver of the involved vehicle stayed at the accident scene and cooperated with the authorities.
