Man Hospitalized after Two-vehicle Accident at Main Street and Cataba Road in Hesperia

The incident happened at about 11:30 a.m. on April 14 at the intersection of Main Street and Cataba Road, near the High Desert Gateway shopping center, according to the San Bernardino County Fire Department 

Hesperia, CA – A man was injured in a two-vehicle collision at Main Street in Hesperia Monday mid-morning.

The incident happened at about 11:30 a.m. on April 14 at the intersection of Main Street and Cataba Road, near the High Desert Gateway shopping center, according to the San Bernardino County Fire Department 

The crash involved a gray Honda Fit and a silver Hyundai Sonata.

The fit sustained major front-end damage and came to rest in the middle of the intersection which suffered significant damage to the driver’s side.

One man was transported by ambulance to a local hospital for treatment of injuries described as minor.

Traffic in the area was temporarily impacted as first responders worked to clear the scene and investigate the cause of the collision.

No additional information about the incident was available.

An investigation is ongoing.
