Rio Linda, CA.- A bicyclist was struck and seriously injured by a vehicle in Rio Linda on Thursday morning, according to the California Highway Patrol.
The crash was reported at 6:14 a.m. on Elkhorn Boulevard near Dry Creek Road.
According to the CHP, a gray Honda Civic crashed with a person riding a bicycle in the area.
The bicyclist was hospitalized with major injuries.
