Lucerne Valley, CA – A woman died after she was hit by a pickup truck Friday evening in Lucerne Valley, authorities reported.
According to the California Highway Patrol, the crash was reported around 6:28 p.m. on September 18, 2026, on eastbound State Route 18 near Christenson Road.

Police officers determined that the woman, believed to be in her late 60s, was hit by a Ford F-150 pickup truck.
The patient was lying unresponsive in the roadway. Paramedics transported the victim to St. Mary Medical Center in Apple Valley, where she died from her injuries at around 7:10 p.m.
The driver of the pickup truck stopped and remained at the scene.
No other details were available, but an investigation is ongoing.
