Los Angeles, CA – Four people, including at least one officer, were hospitalized after a multi-vehicle collision involving a Los Angeles Police Department car that happened Friday morning.

According to LAPD, the incident transpired around 10:54 a.m. on September 11, 2026, near Vernon Avenue and Avalon Boulevard.

An LAPD vehicle, a black sedan, and a maroon SUV were involved in the accident. Details about the manner and cause of the collision were not available. The police car sustained a shattered windshield, and the other two vehicles sustained heavy damage to their front ends.
