Vernon, CA – The bicyclist who was killed in a hit-and-run crash on Wednesday morning in Vernon has been identified as William Valle, 45, according to the Los Angeles County Medical Examiner's Office.
The deadly crash took place at around 6:30 a.m. on October 22, on Pacific Avenue near 45th Street.
Police reported that Valle was riding a bicycle when he was struck by a southbound vehicle.
The vehicle then fled the scene after the crash.
Valle was ejected into the northbound lanes and was struck by second vehicle.
The second driver also fled the scene.
Valle was pronounced dead at the scene.
Police are conducting an investigation into the accident.
