Placer County, CA – A man died after a two-vehicle crash at an intersection in Loomis Saturday morning, according to the Placer County Sheriff’s Office.
The fatal collision happened around 9:30 a.m. Saturday at the intersection of Sierra College Boulevard and King Road.
Authorities said two vehicles were involved in the crash, but no information was provided on how they collided.
Deputies said a man suffered injuries in the crash and was taken to a local hospital, where he was later pronounced dead. His identity was not immediately released. No other injuries were reported.
No arrests were reported in connection with the crash.
Deputies remained at the scene for several hours while investigating the fatal crash. Sierra College Boulevard was closed between Delmar Avenue and Bankhead Road, while King Road was closed between Bankhead Road and Delmar Avenue. Drivers were advised to avoid the area and use alternate routes.
The roads were expected to reopen after the investigation was completed.
