Lancaster, CA – 34-year-old Daniel Martinez died in a motorcycle collision that happened Sunday evening at an intersection in Lancaster, the Los Angeles County Medical Examiner’s Office reported.
According to the Los Angeles County Sheriff’s Department, the incident happened around 6:48 p.m., March 1, at 10th Street West and Avenue H.
Martinez was riding his motorcycle eastbound on Avenue H, and a woman was driving a black sedan westbound on Avenue H. The vehicles collided when the woman attempted to turn left onto 10th Street.
Paramedics rushed the motorcyclist to Antelope Valley Hospital, where he was pronounced dead. The Medical Examiner’s Office reported that Martinez died as a result of multiple blunt force trauma. His city of residence was not mentioned.
An investigation into the crash is ongoing.
