Off-Road Vehicle Rider Killed in Collision on SR-94 in Dulzura

Dulzura, CA – A woman who was killed after a motorcycle and a car collided on State Route 94 in Dulzura on Sunday morning has been identified as Kathryn Mary Fuller, 60, Lakeside.

According to the San Diego PD, Kathryn Fuller was riding a Can-Am motorcycle westbound on Campo Road, east of Dutchman Canyon Road when a Subaru SUV exited a driveway into the westbound lane of traffic. The vehicles collided and the motorcycle overturned multiple times.

Fuller was ejected into a creek parallel to the roadway. Witnesses brought the woman up to the ground and performed lifesaving measures until paramedics arrived at the scene.

Despite the lifesaving measures, Fuller succumbed to her injuries and was pronounced dead at the scene.

Dulzura, CA – One person was killed when an off-road vehicle collided with an SUV Sunday morning in Dulzura, the California Highway Patrol reported.

The crash was reported around 11 a.m. on State Route 94, also known as Campo Road, northwest of Marron Valley Road, within a mile of Cal Fire San Diego Station 30.

Firefighters arrived at the scene within minutes and found the off-road vehicle rider with serious injuries.

The firefighters performed CPR, but the rider died at the scene.

An initial investigation revealed that the off-road vehicle collided with a Subaru Crosstek, ejecting the rider onto the right side of the highway. The rider may have also hit a tree.

Westbound SR-94 was closed following the crash until around 2 p.m.
