Tulare County, CA. – A juvenile driver died, and a truck driver was seriously injured in a collision that happened Thursday afternoon at an intersection in Orosi.

According to the California Highway Patrol, the wreck occurred around 1 p.m. on Avenue 424 and Road 120.

Authorities said a teen driver ran a stop sign and crashed into a PG&E crane truck.

The teenager, who was not wearing a seatbelt, died at the scene of the collision.

The truck driver was hospitalized with serious injuries.

Drugs and alcohol are not suspected to be contributing factors.

An investigation into the crash is ongoing.
