San Bernardino, CA – The San Bernardino Police Department (SBPD) is investigating a deadly collision that left one person dead in San Bernardino early Sunday morning.
The deadly collision happened at about 2:40 a.m. at the intersection of Baseline Street and Crestview Avenue.
SBPD said officers responded to the scene and located a driver with severe injuries.
The driver was transported to Loma Linda University Medical Center where they were pronounced dead at about 4:15 a.m. the same day.
The County Medical Examiner’s office identified the deceased driver as Jose Flores, a 53-year-old resident of Fontana.
No additional information was provided.
The crash is under investigation.
