Bicyclist fatally struck by car at Highway 111 and Frank Sinatra Drive in Rancho Mirage Identified
Rancho Mirage, CA. – John Henebry, Jr., has been identified by the Riverside County Coroner’s Office as the bicyclist fatally struck by a car in Rancho Mirage on New Year’s Day.
According to the Riverside County Sheriff’s Department, the bicycle accident occurred around 10 a.m. in the area of Highway 111 and Frank Sinatra Drive.
The Rancho Mirage man was riding a bicycle in the area when he was hit by a bicycle.
Paramedics arrived and performed life-saving measures on the man, but the man succumbed to his injuries at the scene.
The driver of the vehicle stayed at the scene and cooperated with the police.
An investigation into the accident is ongoing.
