Union County, OR – A man, identified as 28-year-old Jejo Haes, was killed in a single vehicle crash in Union County on Wednesday afternoon, according to the Oregon State Police.
The fatal accident happened at around 4:22 p.m. on August 27 on Interstate 84 near milepost 272.
According to investigators, a white Ford F350 pickup operated by Jejo Haes, 28, of La Grande, was traveling westbound on Interstate 84 when, for unknown reasons, it left the roadway and crashed into a tree before landing at the bottom of a creek bed.
The report confirmed Haes died at the scene.
The OSP is investigating the crash.
