Jaime Suarez Hurt in Santa Barbara Collision on Highway 154
Santa Barbara, California (August 21, 2023) – Jaime Jimenez Suarez, 53, of Oxnard, was injured in a fatal car accident in Santa Barbara on Saturday, according to a report by the authorities.
The incident took place on Highway 154 west of San Antonio Creek Road at around 1:54 a.m. August 19.
The authorities said a 2016 Infiniti QX60 traveling eastbound on SR-154 slammed head-on into an oncoming 2020 Nissan Altima that drifted across the double yellow lines.
The driver of the Nissan, a man aged 22 and from South Jacksonville, Florida, was killed in the collision.
The driver of the Infiniti and passengers in the vehicle, including Jaime Suarez, were transported to Santa Barbara Cottage Hospital with moderate to major injuries.
The crash is under investigation.
