Three Hurt in Santa Barbara Crash on Highway 154
Santa Barbara, California (February 26, 2023) – Three people were injured in a multi-vehicle pileup in Santa Barbara County Sunday morning, according to authorities.
The wreck happened on Highway 154 along the Cold Spring Bridge at around 7:30 a.m.
Authorities said eight vehicles, including a semi-truck, were involved in the pileup on the icy roadway.
The roadway was blocked as crews cleared the wreckage from the scene.
An elderly man was reportedly extricated from one of the vehicles and was hospitalized with moderate injuries.
Two pregnant women were also hospitalized as a precaution.
No further details were available.
The cause of the incident is under investigation.
