According to CHP, Gomez was driving a Honda Civic north on Westlawn Avenue when he failed to stop for a stop sign at the intersection and the Civic was struck on the right side by a Chevrolet Silverado heading west on McKinley Avenue

Fresno County, CA.- The two people who were killed in a crash between two vehicles in Fresno County on Thursday night have been identified as Isac Gomez, 22, of Fresno and Skye Banda, 20, of Selma, according to the Fresno County Coroner's Office.
The incident took place on Westlawn and McKinley avenues at about 9:05 p.m. May 15.
According to CHP, Gomez was driving a Honda Civic north on Westlawn Avenue when he failed to stop for a stop sign at the intersection and the Civic was struck on the right side by a Chevrolet Silverado heading west on McKinley Avenue.
Gomez was rushed to Community Regional Medical Center, where he was pronounced deceased.
Banda, who was a passenger in the Honda, died in the crash.
The driver of the Chevrolet and her passenger were taken to a hospital with minor injuries.
An investigation into the collision is ongoing.
