The fatal crash occurred at approximately 1:24 p.m. on May 28, 2026, in the area of Choiceana Avenue and Live Oak Street.

Hesperia, CA – A motorcyclist was killed, and his female passenger was injured following a traffic collision at an intersection in Hesperia on Thursday afternoon, according to the Hesperia Sheriff’s Station.
The San Bernardino County Coroner’s Office identified the deceased rider as 47-year-old Pablo A. Hermoso of Apple Valley.
The fatal crash occurred at approximately 1:24 p.m. on May 28, 2026, in the area of Choiceana Avenue and Live Oak Street.
Authorities said Hermoso and his passenger, a 44-year-old woman, were on a motorcycle heading northbound on Choiceana Avenue when they collided with an Infiniti sedan within the intersection. Investigators noted that the intersection is controlled by a two-way stop, with stop signs for traffic on Live Oak Street, while traffic traveling on Choiceana Avenue is not required to stop.
Hermoso and the female passenger sustained major injuries in the collision and were transported to a local hospital. Unfortunately, Hermoso later succumbed to his injuries. The passenger remains hospitalized. The driver of the Infiniti stayed at the scene and cooperated with investigators. No arrests were reported.
The cause of the Hesperia crash remains under investigation by the Hesperia Sheriff’s Station.
