Hesperia, CA – A bicyclist was killed in a collision with a vehicle in Hesperia early Friday morning, according to the San Bernardino County Sheriff’s Department.
Shortly before 6 a.m. February 20, authorities responded to reports of a collision on US 395 at Joshua Street near Hesperia Park & Ride.
Investigations into the incident determined that an adult male bicyclist was hit by at least one vehicle near the intersection. Reasons as to why the bicyclist was struck were not immediately available.
Deputies responded to the scene and located the rider down near the intersection. A green 2021 Subaru Forester and a white 2014 Toyota Camry were also at the scene.
The bicyclist was declared deceased at the site of the collision. His identity was withheld pending notification of the next-of-kin.
