Helendale, CA – The San Bernardino County Coroner’s Office have identified Weston Starnes, 29, of Helendale as man killed in crash on Cumberland Lane in Helendale early morning last Saturday.
According to the CHP, the accident happened shortly after 3: 00 a.m. on March 14, on Cumberland Lane just west of Corona Drive.
Investigators revealed Starnes was riding a blue Yamaha YZ250 at an undetermined rate of speed when for unknown reasons he  crashed into the rear of an unoccupied parked gray Ford Explorer.
Starnes was declared dead at the crash site.
Alcohol was suspected to be a factor in the crash.
Further details regarding the mishap were not provided.
An investigation is ongoing.
