Hayward, CA – One person was seriously injured in a two-vehicle collision that took place Monday afternoon on Interstate 238 in Hayward, the California Highway Patrol reported.
Two vehicles collided on the northbound I-238 just south of the East 14th Street off-ramp around 4:15 p.m. on August 10, 2026.
Emergency personnel responded and found a red Tesla sedan and a silver Hyundai Sonata involved in the collision.
One person suffered major injuries, including a broken right wrist.
The Hyundai was towed away with major front-end damage.
Authorities are investigating to establish the cause of the accident.
