Hayward, CA. – A woman was struck and injured by a vehicle in Hayward on Monday morning, according to the Hayward Police Department.
The accident took place on Tennyson Road and Calaroga Avenue at about 7:35 a.m. February 10.
The HPD reported that an SUV driver lost control of the vehicle and drifted into the sidewalk, where the car sideswiped several trees and hit a female pedestrian.
Both the driver and the pedestrian were being treated for their injuries following the collision.
The Hayward Police Department is working to determine the cause of the wreck.
