Glen Ellen, CA – At least one person sustained major injuries following a two-vehicle collision on Arnold Drive in Glen Ellen Thursday evening, according to the California Highway Patrol.
The crash was reported at approximately 5:52 p.m. near 13648 Arnold Drive at Creekside Court.
CHP logs indicate the collision involved a red Mini Cooper and a gray Chevrolet Silverado pickup truck. Investigators have not yet released details regarding how the collision occurred.
One person was transported to Sonoma Valley Hospital for treatment of major injuries. Information regarding any possible arrests was not immediately available.
Emergency crews, including fire personnel from Redcom, responded to the scene shortly after reports of the collision were received. Authorities said witnesses reported hearing the crash and a vehicle horn sounding continuously after impact.
The collision disrupted traffic near Arnold Drive and Creekside Court while authorities investigated the crash and assisted the injured victims.
The incident remains under investigation.
