Another person was sent to the hospital with unknown injuries
Los Angeles, CA. – Garry Swanson, 61, has been identified as the man who died in a car crash that left another injured Tuesday morning on the Golden State (5) Freeway near downtown Los Angeles.
The fatal collision was reported around 8 a.m. on July 14, on the northbound lanes of the freeway near Soto Street.
According to the California Highway Patrol, the crash involved six vehicles.
Swanson was pronounced dead at the scene.
Another person was sent to the hospital with unknown injuries.
All three lanes of the northbound 5 Freeway were closed during the investigation.
