Santa Clarita, CA. – At least one person was seriously injured in a multi-vehicle collision in Santa Clarita on Monday morning.
According to the California Highway Patrol, the accident happened around 11:21 a.m. on the southbound 5 Freeway near Rye Canyon Road.
Four vehicles were involved in the accident. The events leading up to the accident were not immediately determined.
One person was seriously injured in the accident and was taken to an area hospital for treatment.
An investigation into the accident is ongoing.
