The CHP reported that a Honda Accord traveling northbound failed to stop for a stop sign at the intersection and was struck by a Chevy Silverado traveling west.

Fresno County, CA – A crash between two vehicles left three people injured on Friday evening in Fresno County.
According to the California Highway Patrol, the wreck took place on Kearney Boulevard and Cornelia Avenue at about 5 p.m. on Friday, April 17.
The CHP reported that a Honda Accord traveling northbound failed to stop for a stop sign at the intersection and was struck by a Chevy Silverado traveling west. The Chevy came to a rest partially in a canal after the collision.
Emergency crews assessed the involved parties and determined that there were three patients to be transported.
The two men riding in the Honda Accord were extricated from the vehicle by the firefighters. Medics transported them to Community Regional Medical Center for treatment of major injuries.
The 25-year-woman driving the Silverado was taken to the hospital for treatment of minor injuries.
According to the CHP, there was no reason to believe that alcohol or drugs played any role in the incident.
Additional details on the crash were not available. An investigation by the California Highway Patrol is currently ongoing.
