Fallbrook, CA – Two people were injured and transported to a hospital following a three-vehicle crash on Interstate 15 southbound early Thursday morning, according to the California Highway Patrol.

The collision occurred at approximately 5:29 a.m. on February 12 on southbound I-15 near State Route 76. CHP reports indicate the crash involved a Ford F-15, a Toyota Prius, and a gray Hyundai Elantra.

The vehicles were blocking lanes one and two at the time of the incident, with two vehicles having already been transported from the scene and two remaining on-scene awaiting tow.

Fire personnel also reported a secondary traffic collision nearby, and tow trucks were dispatched to assist with clearing the roadway.

Two people were transported to a local hospital for treatment. No arrests were reported in connection with the crash.

The cause of the collision remains under investigation, and it is not yet known what led to the vehicles colliding.

CHP, Fallbrook Fire, and Police Department units responded to the scene, providing traffic control and coordinating transport for the vehicles involved.

The crash caused lane closures and traffic diversion on southbound I-15. The roadway was fully reopened by 6:58 a.m., though authorities advised drivers to expect delays while cleanup and investigation continued.

The Fallbrook crash remains under investigation by the California Highway Patrol.
