Fairfield, CA – The motorcyclist who was killed in a collision with a vehicle on Saturday night in Fairfield has been identified as a 22-year-old Fairfield man.
According to the Fairfield Police Department, Nicholas Robles died following the wreck that took place on Green Valley Road near West Lake Drive just after 11 p.m. March 21.
According to initial reports, a vehicle crashed with a motorcyclist, for unspecified reasons, and the impact led to the closure of Green Valley Road between West Lake Drive and Reservoir Lane for several hours.
The FPD and crews with the Fairfield Fire Department responded to the scene of the collision shortly after receiving reports of the incident.
The rider of the motorcycle, identified as Nicholas Robles, was declared dead at the scene. The other driver stayed at the scene and cooperated with law enforcement.
More information on the crash has not been provided and the Fairfield Police Major Accident Investigation Team is currently looking into the incident to determine the contributing factors.
