According to the authorities, Ramirez was driving a Honda Civic sedan at a high rate of speed westbound on Seventh Street when he moved into the opposing lanes and collided head-on with an eastbound Honda Accord

Long Beach, CA. – Elmer Ramirez Sosa, 20, was among two people killed in a collision that took place in Long Beach on Wednesday, according to the Los Angeles County Medical Examiner.
The incident happened in the area of Seventh Street and Terraine Avenue at about 6:20 a.m. May 7.
According to the authorities, Ramirez was driving a Honda Civic sedan at a high rate of speed westbound on Seventh Street when he moved into the opposing lanes and collided head-on with an eastbound Honda Accord.
Both Ramirez and the other driver, Salvador Medina, 35, were pronounced deceased at the scene.
The Long Beach Police Department is investigating the crash.
