Fairfield, CA – Several eastbound lanes on Interstate 80 in Fairfield were closed Thursday afternoon following a crash that resulted in minor injuries, authorities said.
The collision occurred at approximately 4:53 p.m., January 1, on I-80 west of Travis Boulevard and impacted three lanes, according to the California Highway Patrol.
CHP issued a traffic alert stating that lanes 3 through 5 on eastbound I-80 were closed due to the crash. The estimated time for reopening the lanes was approximately 30 minutes.
