According to police, a Ford truck was traveling southbound on Friant Road when it lost control, spun out and slammed into a tree

Fresno, CA.- A driver was injured in a single-truck accident in northeast Fresno on Monday morning, according to the Fresno Police Department.
The incident took place at around 9 a.m. on Friant Road near Copper Avenue.
According to police, a Ford truck was traveling southbound on Friant Road when it lost control, spun out and slammed into a tree.
The truck burst into flames following the accident.
The driver of the truck self-extricated from the vehicle before it was engulfed in flames.
The driver was transported to a hospital with moderate injuries.
No additional details were immediately released.
An investigation into the collision is ongoing.
