, CA – One person was seriously injured after a two-vehicle collision on W Jensen Avenue in Fresno late Thursday night, according to the California Highway Patrol.

The crash occurred around 11:51 p.m. at the intersection of W Jensen Avenue and S Cornelia Avenue.

CHP reports indicate the collision involved a white SUV and a blue Pacific Gas & Electric (PGE) . The impact was significant enough that heavy-duty equipment was required to manage the PGE truck, which was carrying approximately 50,000 pounds.

One individual sustained serious injuries in the collision.

Authorities responded with environmental health units and coordinated towing efforts to safely clear the large truck from the roadway. Traffic in the area was disrupted while crews managed the scene.

The incident remains under investigation by CHP.
