Tehachapi, CA – The man who was killed Thursday morning in a bicycle accident in Tehachapi has been identified as Dee Roy Crowell, 81, of Tehachapi, according to the Kern County Coroner’s Office.
The deadly accident happened around 8:22 a.m. on August 21 on Highline Road and Tehachapi Willow Springs Road.
Authorities said the accident involved a vehicle and a bicycle.
The bicyclist, Crowell, was pronounced dead at the scene.
The accident closed Highline Road and Tehachapi Willow Springs Road.
No additional information was released.
The authorities are investigating the accident.
