Six other people, among them two juveniles, were injured in the three-vehicle crash on Highway 551.

Marion County, OR – One passenger was killed, and multiple individuals were injured after a three-vehicle collision on Highway 551 on Friday, according to the Oregon State Police.
The crash occurred at around 4:35 p.m. on November 28, 2025, near milepost 3 on Highway 551.
OSP said a southbound Dodge Sprinter van, driven by Conway Moncure Jennings, a 39-year-old Portland resident, crashed into the rear of a southbound Hyundai Santa Fe, driven by 36-year-old Aaron Robert Lightfoot of Aurora. The impact pushed the Hyundai into the path of a northbound Toyota Sienna, driven by Xianzhong An, a 55-year-old resident of Happy Valley, striking the passenger side.
Jennings was transported to a local hospital for treatment. The Toyota driver, An, along with passengers, 28-year-old Mariana Dominguez Chavez and an 11-year-old boy, sustained minor injuries and were also hospitalized.
The Hyundai driver, Lightfoot, and an 8-year-old male passenger suffered minor injuries and were taken to the hospital.
Sadly, a 38-year-old passenger, Danielle Maria Lightfoot, was pronounced dead after being transported to a medical facility.
Authorities noted that all vehicles were traveling along Highway 551 when the Dodge van rear-ended the Hyundai, causing it to enter the northbound lane and collide with the Toyota. The sequence of impacts contributed to the injuries reported among drivers and passengers.
Emergency personnel from Canby Fire, Hubbard Fire, Aurora Fire, and ODOT assisted the Oregon State Police at the scene. Highway 551 remained closed for roughly seven hours while investigators documented the crash and collected evidence.
The cause of the collision is under investigation, with authorities reviewing roadway conditions, vehicle positions, and witness accounts to determine contributing factors.
