Yuba County, CA.– A man was killed in a construction accident that happened near a powerhouse in Yuba County on Thursday, according to the Yuba County Sheriff's Department.
The accident happened near the New Colgate Powerhouse in Dobbins on Thursday, August 7.
Authorities reported that a man working as a contractor for the Yuba Water Agency was operating a construction equipment when it fell down an embankment.
The worker, identified as Daniel Bustos Mendez, 33, of Hayward, was killed in the accident.
The Occupational Safety and Health Administration is investigating the incident.
