Daniel Hernandez Killed in Indio Motorcycle Accident at Monroe Street and San Jacinto Avenue
Indio, California (October 23, 2023) – The Riverside County Coroner’s Office said 24-year-old Daniel Hernandez died in a motorcycle accident that happened Sunday afternoon at an intersection in Indio.
The accident was reported around 12:24 p.m. at Monroe Street and San Jacinto Avenue.
Indio police officers responded to the intersection after receiving reports of a motorcycle versus car collision.
The officers found Hernandez, a Thermal resident, lying unresponsive on the roadway.
Paramedics pronounced him dead at the scene.
Police believe Hernandez was riding a motorcycle on Monroe Street approaching San Jacinto Avenue when he collided with the car.
An investigation into the collision is ongoing.
