Colton, CA – 38-year-old Asandria Jacobo died when she was struck by an SUV while riding an e-bike at an intersection in Colton, police reported.

The incident was reported around 6:50 p.m. on September 4, 2026, at 12th Street and East F Street. The scene is just blocks away from Fleming Park

Jacobo was riding an electric bicycle in the area when she was struck by a Volvo SUV under unclear circumstances.

Colton firefighters and paramedics responded to the scene and took Jacobo to the hospital, where she later died from her injuries.

The SUV driver stopped and stayed at the scene after the crash.
