Ontario, CA – The authorities have released the names of two people who died in a triple-fatal crash involving multiple vehicles on I-10 in Ontario on Tuesday afternoon.
The San Bernardino County Medical Examiner identified the two victims as Clarence Nelson, 76, and Lisa Nelson, 69, both from Fontana. Both Clarence and Lisa were pronounced dead at the scene.
Authorities said Lisa was a passenger while Clarence was a passenger. One other person, whose name has not been released, was killed.
Authorities said a total of four trailers and four cars were involved in the accident.

According to the California Highway Patrol, the accident happened on Interstate 10 Freeway near the junction with Interstate 15.
A big rig was traveling at a high rate of speed when it failed to slow down for stopped traffic and crashed into the rear of another truck. A total of four trailers and four cars were involved in the accident.
The vehicles caught fire after the collision.
