A man driving a white 2018 GMC Yukon east on Foxworthy Avenue attempted to overtake a green 2018 Subaru Forester but struck it and drifted into the path of oncoming traffic.

San Jose, CA.- A second driver has died following a crash that happened in San Jose on Saturday afternoon.
According to San Jose police, the crash happened at about 2:30 p.m. October 25, near Foxworthy and Jarvis avenues.
A man driving a white 2018 GMC Yukon east on Foxworthy Avenue attempted to overtake a green 2018 Subaru Forester but struck it and drifted into the path of oncoming traffic.
The Yukon then collided head-on with an oncoming blue 2012 Honda CRV.
The driver of the Honda, Ellen Jo Orcutt, 74, was pronounced deceased at the scene.
The Yukon driver was transported to a hospital with life-threatening injuries and was pronounced deceased on Wednesday, October 29.
He was identified by the Santa Clara County Coroner's Office as Christian Herbert Hygelund, 81, of Los Gatos.
Authorities reported that Hygelund was suspected to have been driving under the influence of alcohol
An investigation into the crash is ongoing.
