Santa Rosa, CA — One person was killed after a vehicle struck a pedestrian on Rainsville Road in Santa Rosa on Saturday morning, according to the California Highway Patrol.
The fatal crash was reported at 9:16 a.m. on November 22 at 231 Rainsville Road near Stony Point.
According to the incident log, the collision involved a vehicle and a bicyclist. Emergency personnel confirmed the fatality at 9:19 a.m. The name of the deceased cyclist was withheld pending next of kin notification.
No additional injuries or arrests were reported.
Traffic control was requested at Rainsville and Girard to assist responding units, and the roadway was later reopened at 12:28 p.m.
The incident remains under investigation.
