Corona, CA – One person was killed after a motorcycle collided with a car on Cajalco Road in Corona late Sunday evening, according to the California Highway Patrol.
The collision occurred at approximately 8:45 p.m. on October 19, 2025, on Cajalco Road, just east of Eagle Canyon Road.
CHP officials said both the car and motorcycle were traveling at roughly 40 mph in opposite directions along Cajalco when they collided around a sharp turn. The impact caused the motorcycle rider to go over a railing.
The motorcycle rider was pronounced deceased at the scene. The identity of the victim was not immediately released. The occupants of the car remained at the location, were checked by paramedics, and refused transport to the hospital. No arrests have been reported.
During the investigation, officers discovered a 22-caliber firearm at the scene, though it is unclear who it belonged to. Both the car and motorcycle were taken for evidence processing.
Authorities have not confirmed if alcohol or drugs were a factor in the crash.
The collision remains under investigation by the California Highway Patrol, Riverside Office, in coordination with the Corona Police and Fire Departments.
