Phoenix, AZ. – A child was injured after being hit by a car on Tuesday morning in Phoenix.
The pedestrian accident happened around 7 a.m. near 59th Avenue and McDowell Road, according to Phoenix police.
The circumstances surrounding the collision were not immediately determined.
The juvenile suffered minor injuries and was taken to hospital for treatment.
The driver of the car stayed at the scene and cooperated with the police.
The accident remains under investigation.
