Sahuarita, AZ.- A child suffered severe injuries in a traffic accident that took place in Sahuarita on Friday evening, according to the Santa Rita Fire District.
The incident occurred on Interstate 19 near kilometer marker 75 at around 6 p.m. October 31.
According to the report, four vehicles were involved in the collision on the northbound side of the interstate and one of them rolled onto its side.
A child sustained critical injuries while four other parties had minor injuries.
The injured parties were transported to Banner University Medical Center in Tucson for treatment.
The cause of the accident is under investigation.
