Ross and the Atascadero woman were transported to Sierra Vista Regional Medical Center with serious injuries.
San Luis Obispo, CA. – 55-year-old Cezar Roy has been identified as the man who died in a multi-vehicle collision that left two other people injured in San Luis Obispo on Wednesday night, August 26.
The fatal collision happened on Highway 101 on the Cuesta Grade at Hawk Hill Road at around 11:15 p.m., according to the California Highway Patrol.
David Worthington Ross was driving a white GMC Canyon truck southbound on northbound Highway 101 when he crashed head-on into an Atascadero woman’s black Dodge Charger.
Three other vehicles crashed into both the GMC and the Dodge.
Cezar Roy, a resident of Grover Beach, was in the front passenger seat of the Dodge and was pronounced dead at the scene.
Ross and the Atascadero woman were transported to Sierra Vista Regional Medical Center with serious injuries.
The crash also killed the Atascadero woman’s unborn baby.
An investigation into the accident is ongoing.
