Porterville, CA.- Carol Paiste, 53, of Porterville, was killed in a hit-and-run crash in Porterville last week on Saturday, according to the authorities.
The accident took place on E. Date Avenue, west of S. Park Street on Saturday, November 15.
According to the report, Paiste was walking along E. Date Avenue when she was hit by a Honda Accord.
Paiste was killed in the accident.
The driver fled the scene after the crash but was located and arrested on Thursday.
The suspect was identified as Juan Paul Jacinto Hernandez, 51.
An investigation into the collision is ongoing.
