According to troopers, Larry J. Schuster, 61, of Kennewick, was driving an SUV westbound on I-90 when he attempted to pass a sedan operated by Carl A. Person, 80, of Cle Elum

North Bend, WA.- Four people were injured in a crash involving three vehicles near North Bend on Friday morning, according to the Washington State Patrol.
The accident happened on Interstate 90 at about 9:50 a.m. October 31.
According to troopers, Larry J. Schuster, 61, of Kennewick, was driving an SUV westbound on I-90 when he attempted to pass a sedan operated by Carl A. Person, 80, of Cle Elum.
The sedan failed to slow down and moved into the eastbound lanes, where it collided head-on with an oncoming pickup truck driven by Rashid Baez, 35, of Bothell.
Person and his passenger, Sue A. Person, 75, were taken to Harborview Medical Center in Seattle for treatment.
Baez and his passenger, Maria C. Vargas, 34, of Seattle, were both taken to Overlake Medical Center in Bellevue.
Schuster was not hurt and continued traveling westbound on I-90.
Drugs and alcohol were not suspected to be factors in the crash, according to WSP.
The investigation is ongoing.
